German wind turbine maker Nordex's 9M order intake up 4%
Adds pricing with ASP for 9M, CEO quotes, share move
Oct 9 (Reuters) -German wind turbine maker Nordex NDXG.DE on Wednesday said it has secured 5,083 megawatts (MW) of orders in the projects segment in the first nine months of the year, helped by strong demand in Germany, the Baltic states and Canada.
That represents an increase of 4% compared with the same period last year, the company said.
For the third quarter, Nordex reported order intake of 1,726 MW, compared with 2,251 MW in the same quarter last year.
The average sales price in euros per megawatt of capacity (ASP) remained at a stable level of 0.90 million euros per MW in the first nine months.
"Key contributors to this growth were again the German market along with the Baltic states in Europe and the Canadian market in the Americas," CEO Jose Luis Blanco said.
"We expect to accelerate this momentum going into the final quarter of 2024," he added.
The stock is seen up 1.2% in pre-market trade.
